Service area

  • What is your service area?

    For our meal service and on-site cooking classes, we serve the following states--Illinois, Wisconsin, Michigan and Indiana. 

Planning

  • Menus: What is the process for creating menus?

    Each menu will be customized based on your budget, dietary requirements, and taste (likes and dislikes).  


    Each customized menu includes:

    • Soup or Salad
    • Entrée (one protein and two vegetables)
    • For an additional fee, appetizers, desserts and beverages are included

  • Recipes: How are recipes developed?

    All recipes are developed or modified based on your likes and dislikes, including your dietary needs.  If you have a preferred recipe for a menu item, we will be more than glad to use it.


Meal preparation

  • Onsight Entry: Do I need to be home or on-site to you gain entry?

    No, if you have an electronic door lock.  We will only need the lock code.


    Yes, if you do not have an electronic door lock.


  • Food Production: What equipment and accommodations are needed for you to provide your services?

    • A cleared countertop work space.
    • A stove, oven, and microwave in good working condition.
    • A sink with running hot water.
    • A refrigerator and freezer with enough cleared space for food storage.
    • All pets must be secured away from entry ways leading to and within the kitchen area.

Food safety & sanitation practices

  • What are your food safety & sanitation practices?

    All staff consistently adhere to all health code sanitation and food safety guidelines.


    Our executive chef, holds and maintains a ServSafe Food Safety & Sanitation Certification, including special training in COVID-19 precautions.


    In order to ensure compliance with all health code sanitation requirements, we provide all needed cleaning supplies, excluding a mop and broom.  


COVID-19

  • Are services being offered during the COVID-19 Pandemic?

    Yes.  By complying with all of CDC guidelines, we are able to continue to provide during the COVID-19 Pandemic. 


     All staff are required to wear a face covering and practice social distancing at all times while in your home.

Cooking classes

  • Participant Requirements: What are the minimum and maximum number of individuals who can participate in each class?

    We are available to offer our cooking classes to 1 – 25 individuals.


  • Length of Classes: How long are the cooking classes?

    The duration of each class is between 1 – 4 hours.


  • Food Samples: Are samples of the prepared food items available to class participants?

    Absolutely!  We prepare adequate amounts of samples for every participant. 


    For individuals who participate in our virtual on-line classes, we can accommodate to have the samples delivered to them.


  • Class Materials: What materials are needed and included in the class fee?

    Recipes and all other necessary materials will be provided and are included in the class fee.


Insurance

  • Are your services insured?

    Yes, our services are adequately insured with Business liability Insurance Coverage.


Rates & fees

  • What are your rates?

    Every menu is different so that’s why we don’t show prices. We try to meet your needs as best we can in order to give you the best meal/event experience.


Deposits

  • Is an advanced deposit required?

    We do require advanced payment for the Planning Service Fee and a 50% projected grocery costs Deposit.  


    The Planning Service Fee is non-refundable and must be received prior to developing your customized menus and recipes.


Cancelation

  • What is your cancelation policy?

    Cancelation:  We require at least 7-days advanced notice to cancel a service.  A fee is required for all cancelations with less than 7-days advance notice.


    Service Date Change:  We require at least three 3-days advance notice to change a service date.   A fee is required for date changes made with less than 3-days advance notice.
